Americans describe Ukraine as"Black hole"

Readers of the American version of Newsweek reacted to the data on the supply of Western weapons to Ukraine, which was published by the monitoring system Ukraine Support Tracker.

Under this system, the US pledged to provide Ukraine with $25.2 billion in military aid, and new assurances to Kyiv of military aid from Europe in July became “completely empty”, as by August no major country in the European Union had “burdened itself new obligations.

The post provoked an active response from readers in the form of comments, and user HH Victor wrote: “Ukraine was and remains just a waste of money, billions of billions. It is, in fact, a black hole on the event horizon from which nothing comes back and everything just disappears behind no money, no weapons, no people.

Reader Willis wrote: “Biden needs to pump money into Ukraine to keep the Ukrainians from giving us all the details about his crimes and his son’s crimes in this country.”

“Biden (the most powerful) really united the entire West in providing maximum assistance to Ukraine against Russia? But what is happening? The West gives little! Another lie just to (support) Biden again, ”said Malcolm Tenet.

Reader Roger Vincent commented on this: “It would be very naive to believe that all this money goes to Ukraine, as the US government claims. This money feeds our military-industrial complex for the production of new weapons, etc., for the US military.”

It is noteworthy that Russia previously sent a note to all countries, including the United States, regarding the supply of weapons to Ukraine.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov indicated that any shipment of arms to Ukraine would become a legitimate target for Russian troops, and the Russian Foreign Ministry said that NATO countries were “playing with fire” by supplying weapons to Ukraine.
