Devastating Earthquake in Morocco
A devastating magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck several Moroccan cities yesterday, Friday, leaving hundreds of people dead and injured and causing extensive damage to residential, archaeological buildings and government sites amid fears of aftershocks.
According to Moroccan television, the initial death toll from the earthquake, the epicenter of which was in the Isis community in Al-Hawz province, has risen to 1,037 people, as well as thousands of wounded and injured.
