After moving to Manchester United, Casemiro turns to Ronaldo

Brazilian midfielder Casemiro has approached his former Real Madrid teammate and current Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo about staying at Old Trafford.

Late last week, Casemiro completed his official move to Manchester United from Real Madrid for €70m.

Casemiro played alongside Ronaldo during their time at Real Madrid and the Brazilian hopes to reunite him with the Portuguese striker who has won many titles, including four Champions League titles with Real Madrid.

Will Casemiro play Ronaldo again?

Questions continue to arise over whether Ronaldo will leave in the summer transfer window or stay at United as he insists on a move to another club for the Champions League, but Casemiro is looking forward to working with the Portuguese star again.

“I will go to Manchester United, one of the greatest teams in the world that rivals the greatness of Real Madrid,” Casemiro said at his farewell conference in the Spanish capital Madrid today, Monday.

He added: “I haven’t talked to Cristiano Ronaldo but I want to play with him, I’m very happy to work with him again, we hope he stays (at Manchester). He is one of the best players in the world. .”
