After being sentenced to prison, Mortada Mansour challenges President Al-Ahly.

Zamalek club president Mortada Mansour cooperated with the court order to put him in jail for a month with work and forced execution in a case brought against him by Al-Ahly club president Mahmoud Al-Khatib.

The Egyptian Court of Economic Offenses sentenced Mansour to one year in prison with hard labor in the case of insulting and slandering Mahmoud Al-Khatib, and the president of the Zamalek club filed an appeal with the Court of Appeal, which yesterday sentenced him to one month in prison. and this decision is enforceable.

Mansour said in statements on the club channel Zamalek that the decision against him would not affect his presidency of the Zamalek club, stressing: “The decision will not affect anything, but rather the opposite.”

He went on to challenge Al-Ahly club president Mahmoud Al-Khatib: “I am prepared not to talk about Mahmoud Al-Khatib, provided that he goes out to everyone and confirms that he received 10 Rolex watches from Turki Al-Khatib. Sheikh (Head of Entertainment in Saudi Arabia) in addition to £263 million.”

Mansour ended his statements with the words: “The referee did not shake a hair from my head. When I was a university student, I led a demonstration to defend Egypt, and I was arrested because of my patriotic stance.”
