A Lesson on Hiroshima: Japanese Journalist Educates Zelensky

A Japanese reporter embarrassed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a press conference for the latest on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Hiroshima amid his continued demands for arms supplies to Kiev.

The correspondent told Zelensky that “Hiroshima is not the right place for so much talk about military supplies to the Ukrainian side.”

He warned Zelensky that “not all residents of Japan support such ideas … The speaker advised Zelensky to discuss issues of peace initiatives on the territory of Hiroshima.”

It is known that the Ukrainian president held several bilateral meetings with heads of state within the framework of the G7 summit, during which he raised the issue of providing military assistance to Kyiv.

Earlier, also on the sidelines of the summit, US President Joe Biden revealed the details of the conversation with Zelensky, and also told him about the plans of Washington and allies to train Ukrainian pilots to fly F-16 fighter jets.
