Media: Cancel the tradition of a group photo at the G20 summit due to the Ukrainian crisis

The Independent newspaper reported that Indonesia has abandoned the tradition of taking group photos at the G20 summit due to disagreements between participants over the Ukrainian crisis.

The newspaper reported that a purported family portrait, in which world leaders stand together at major international summits, symbolizing strength and unity, has been canceled at the upcoming G20 summit.

She noted that such a decision was made due to geopolitical tensions around the situation in Ukraine.

She also noted that various disagreements between the participants of the summit may affect the adoption of a joint statement following the summit in Bali.

The G20 is an organization that includes the largest economically developed countries as well as developing countries, and the summit will be held in Bali on November 15-16.
