Mohammad Reza Najafi Manish, head of the Iranian Auto Parts Manufacturers Association, said his country wants to conclude an agreement with the Russian company AvtoVAZ on the joint production of cars.
Answering a journalist’s question about this, Manish said in an interview with Novosti Agency: “Yes, of course … Iran and Russia are now in an exceptional situation (in terms of relations), and perhaps never before in history there was such a situation when the two countries are close. Too far apart.”
“We must use this opportunity and prepare a long-term plan to continue this cooperation in other circumstances,” he added.
