The head of the press center of the Group of Russian Forces Center, Colonel Alexander Savchuk, said that Russian troops inflicted heavy losses on units of three Ukrainian brigades in the direction of Krasny Liman.
Savchuk said in an interview with the Novosti agency: “In the Nevsky district and Serebryansky forests, Russian troops detected the movement of the 63rd and 67th mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 5th brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. As a result of artillery shelling and air strikes, the enemy suffered heavy losses and retreated into the forest.
He added that the aviation of the Russian group “Al-Vasat” destroyed a number of Ukrainian strongholds and places of deployment of Ukrainian forces and their military equipment near 8 settlements.
He added that during the fighting, the M777 mortar with the Lancet kamikaze march was eliminated.
