Zenit-Petersburg climbed to the top of the Russian Premier League by beating the host Ural (Ekaterinburg) 4-0 today, Sunday, at the seventh stage of the competition.
The Zenit four scored two goals, the Brazilian Malcolm “two goals”, Andrey Mostovoy and another Brazilian Rodrigao in the 50th, 60th, 55th and 72nd minutes respectively.

With this result, Zenit regained their first place in the Russian Championship once again, increasing their score to 17 points, one point ahead of Spartak Moscow, who finished second after yesterday’s 4-1 victory over Wakel.
On the other hand, the balance of “Ural” at some point froze at the penultimate 15th place.
