Ukrainian grain is transported from the Black Sea ports as part of a “food deal” signed by Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and the UN on July 22 in Istanbul. This agreement removes restrictions on the export of Russian agricultural products and fertilizers to world markets, and also clarifies how ships with grain can leave Ukrainian ports in the Black Sea through special humanitarian shipping lanes.
