Spanish football club Fuenlabrada announced today, Monday, the signing of Enzo Zidane, the son of former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane, from French club Rodez.
Enzo Zidane has signed a one-season deal with relegated Fuenlabrada on a free transfer from Rhodes.
Fuenlabrada will play their matches at the Fernando Torres Stadium in Madrid.
After signing with Fuenlabrada, Enzo Zidane said: “I came with great desire and enthusiasm. Fuenlabrada is a team with big goals. I am very happy to be back in Spain and Madrid and enjoy football here. helping the team achieve their goals.”
Enzo played 16 Ligue 1 games with Rodez last season without scoring or providing an assist.
Enzo Zidane, 27, started his football career at Real Madrid and rose through his age groups to Real Madrid’s reserve team Castella, which was then coached by his father Zinedine Zidane.
Enzo participated in one match with the Real Madrid first team in the Copa del Rey, during which he scored a goal.
Enzo moved to Deportivo Alaves in the summer of 2017, and then moved from Lausanne, Spain, Rayo Majadahonda of Spain, Deportivo Avek of Portugal and Almeria of Spain.
