President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the government of his country had decided on the forced evacuation of residents of areas of the Donetsk Republic under his control.
“There is a government decree on the mandatory evacuation of the Donetsk region, everything is organized. Full support, full logistics. People who have not decided, let them do it themselves, go, and we will help you,” Zelensky said. .
And earlier, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Irina Vereshchuk said that Kyiv plans to evacuate at least 220,000 people from areas of the Donetsk Republic under its control before the onset of winter.
