The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stressed that if the European Union does not solve the problem of transporting goods to Kaliningrad, Russia’s response will be appropriate.
“Russian administrations have worked together to respond, and our so-called Western partners, in this case the European Commission and the European Union, must understand that the clock is ticking and there is a limit to patience. But we repeatedly publicly and directly told them that the Answer would be appropriate.
The representative of the European Commission, Johannes Bark, said earlier that the European Commission has not yet prepared recommendations to the Lithuanian authorities on the issue of the transit of Russian goods to Kaliningrad, but is in contact with the Lithuanian authorities.
