The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov would speak at the session of the UN General Assembly, and about 20 bilateral meetings would be held on the sidelines.
“During the general political discussions of the General Assembly, which will be held from September 20 to 26, Lavrov will speak at the session of the General Assembly itself, and will also take part in a number of bilateral meetings and multifaceted events,” Zakharova said today at a press conference.
She added that work is currently underway to prepare the agenda for Minister Lavrov, noting that it is planned that “about 20 bilateral meetings” will take place during his stay at the UN.
