Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on a photo of transgender US Admiral Rachel Levin with her gay partner, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Atomic Energy Sam Brenton.
Zakharova wrote on her Telegram channel: “Answer yourself these questions frankly: are these the values on which you are ready to raise your children? Or should we stand up for our values?
Twitter users reacted angrily to a photo of Rachel Levine, the first transgender US admiral, with gay activist Sam Brenton, taken on the occasion of French National Day at the French Embassy in Washington.
