Xi Jinping and Zelensky to Convene Virtually Next Week

The Wall Street Journal reported that Chinese President Xi Jinping plans to hold an online meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky next week.

The newspaper, citing sources, said the Chinese president intends to visit Moscow next week to hold talks with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, and then meet with Zelensky via the Internet.

Earlier in the day, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov declined to comment on media reports of Xi Jinping’s possible visit to Russia next week, promising to report on the mutual readiness of both sides.

And Reuters reported today, Monday, citing informed sources, that Chinese President Xi Jinping intends to visit Moscow next week.
