Moroccan defender Badr Banoon sent 5 messages to his former club Al-Ahly from Egypt after his official move to Qatari club Qatar.

Badr Banoon joined Qatar SC on a two-season contract after two years at the Red Castle, during which he won 4 continental and local titles, one in the African Champions League and the same number in the Egyptian Cup, African Super Cup. and bronze at the 2020 Club World Cup.

The Moroccan defender sent his messages through his official Instagram account, saying: “I go through every football experience with passion and do my best and I didn’t skimp on the sweat with Al Ahli.”

He added: “I thank the management of the club, led by Mahmoud Al-Khatib, as well as all the players for the way they treated me from the first day at the club.”

And the former Raja Casablanca player continued: “With my football mates, I won several championships and we were like a family and I am also grateful to them. They were good comrades and support.”

Badr Bannon did not forget to thank the Al Ahly fans, saying: “I will cherish the Sultan’s title because he supported the ancient club.”

The Moroccan player concluded his message by saying: “I also thank Pizo Mosimane (former manager of Al-Ahly) who knew how to lead the club to achieve new titles and I also thank the new coach Ricardo Soares and I wish Al-Ahly good luck in the future.”

It is noteworthy that the 28-year-old Badr Banun took part in 52 matches for Al-Ahly, during which, in addition to the decisive pass, he scored 4 goals.
