Washington announced that the US aircraft carrier group will continue to “monitor” the Taiwan region.
Commenting on the measures taken by China following the announcement of US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to the island, the US White House said China “decided to overreact” to Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan.
