Where is the location for the 2023 CAF Champions League Final featuring Al Ahli and Vidad?

Moroccan Wydad achieved a 2-2 draw with their South African host Sun Downs in the second leg of the CAF Champions League semi-final to set the date for the final against Al-Ahly of Egypt.

Wydad won from the match of the first leg which took place last week at the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca and ended in a goalless draw to qualify for the final match on the away goals rule.

Thus, the CAF Champions League final will be repeated for the second year in a row with the same two teams, after Wydad won the title last year at the expense of Egypt’s Al Ahli 2-0.

And Al Ahli have reserved the first qualifying card for this season’s final match after resuming their 1-0 victory over Esperance de Tunis on Friday after defeating them in the first leg by three goals with no answer.

CAF Champions League final date

Home and away match dates have been set by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) as follows:

The first match is Sunday, June 4th at the Cairo International Stadium.

Second leg – Sunday, June 11 – at the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca.
