Washington: The proposal to include Russia in the list of state sponsors of terrorism is ineffective

The White House confirmed that the United States does not consider the proposal to include Russia in the list of state sponsors of terrorism in the United States effective.

He pointed out that the inclusion of Russia in the list of state sponsors of terrorism could have unforeseen consequences for Ukraine and delay food exports.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova did not rule out the possibility of severing diplomatic relations with the United States if the latter accused Moscow of supporting terrorism.

Commenting on the discussion in the US Senate of a request to include Russia in the list of state sponsors of terrorism, Zakharova said that this step could lead to a rupture of diplomatic relations.
