The United States has said it is closely following any deals that could be reached by Russia and the UN on Ukrainian grain exports and is prepared to hold Moscow accountable for it.
“I hope the negotiations will be successful,” US Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas Greenfield was quoted by RIA Novosti as saying. “We will also monitor the Russians and are ready to hold Russia accountable for the agreements reached with the United States.” Nations”.
She added that Washington has a positive attitude towards the negotiation process, which provides for the export of 20 million tons of Ukrainian grain.
