Washington is likely to reduce the pace of hostilities in Ukraine in the winter

U.S. intelligence has suggested that the pace of fighting in Ukraine will slow down in the coming months, noting that the future of the conflict after the winter remains open.

That assessment was made on Saturday by Director of National Intelligence Avril Hines, and she said: “To be honest, we are seeing the pace of fighting have slowed down a bit… and we expect this to continue in the coming months.”
