Vučić: EU asked Serbia to indicate which side it is on in relations with Russia

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that EU representatives, including Germany and France, demanded that Serbia choose and decide with whom to stand on the issue of relations with Russia.

He added: “They emphasized that everyone should now determine their position, with whom they want to stay. With the side where the economy disappears and disappears, or with the side where there is success, that is, where they are.

Vučić noted that representatives of Western countries called on him to “solve the Kosovo problem” as soon as possible, which would give them additional arguments in confrontation with Russia.

According to him, Serbia is again suffering from the “collateral losses” of the crisis and from the “unscrupulousness of the world powers.”

Yesterday Vučić met with the European Union’s Special Representative for Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue Miroslav Lajak, as well as French and German foreign and security advisers Emmanuel Bonn and Jens Plettner.
