Veteran Ibra agrees to extend contract with AC Milan

Veteran Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic has agreed to extend his contract with Italian champions AC Milan for another season.

Ibrahimovic’s contract with Milan, 40, expired this summer.

Fabrizio Romano, a well-known journalist specializing in transfer market news, announced on his official Twitter page that Ibrahimovic has decided to extend his contract with AC Milan for one season until June next year.

Romano indicated that Ibrahimovic had a knee injury and would take 6 to 7 months to recover, but he would accept a lower salary.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic played an influential role in Milan’s Serie A victory after a long wait of more than 10 years, technically, but most importantly at the level of leadership and team building in the Rossoneri dressing room.
