USA. Arrest "Prime suspect" Murders of four Muslims in New Mexico

US police announced the arrest of a “prime suspect” as part of a joint investigation into the murder of four Muslims in New Mexico.

And on Saturday, New Mexico authorities announced they were investigating a possible link between the murder of three Muslims this year and the murder of a Muslim last November, and on Sunday appealed to the public to help them solve the mysterious case.

This came after a body was discovered on August 5 near an office providing services to refugees.

An Albuquerque police statement on Saturday said they recovered the body of a fourth victim Friday night. She did not identify him, but said he was in his twenties and a Muslim of “South Asian descent”.

“Investigators believe this killing may be linked to three recent killings of South Asian Muslims,” she added.

Among these victims are two Pakistanis, one of whom was 27 years old when his body was found on August 1, and the other was 41 years old when his body was found on July 26.

And police have announced that investigators are looking into whether these murders are connected to the Nov. 7, 2021 killing of an Afghan in front of a company he runs with his brother in Albuquerque.
