US senator admits: we helped Ukraine counterattack

Mark Warner, chairman of the US Senate Intelligence Committee, acknowledged that the Ukrainian counterattack was the result of joint work of US intelligence with Ukrainian and British counterparts.

“Part of this Ukrainian progress is the result of massive support from the United States and our NATO allies. In part, this is also the result of our intelligence work with the Ukrainians and with our friends, especially with the British, ”the senator added in an interview with CNN.

According to him, the US and British intelligence services “manage to keep the Russian forces in a tense state.”

Earlier, The New York Times, citing unnamed US officials, reported that US intelligence, as part of increasing cooperation with Ukraine, advised the Kyiv authorities on a counterstrike in the Kharkiv direction.
