The US State Department said on Saturday that Washington supports Israel’s right to self-defense.
In today’s statement, commenting on the Israeli aggression, the Foreign Ministry urged the parties to avoid further escalation after air raids on Gaza and rocket attacks on Israel.
U.S. Ambassador to Israel Tom Neides tweeted Friday: “The United States strongly believes Israel has the right to defend itself… We are dealing with various parties and urge everyone to calm down.”
The United States firmly believes that Israel has the right to defend itself. We are engaging with various parties and call on all parties to remain calm.
