Unrestricted Development of Iran-UAE Relations: Abdullahyan Assures of No Restrictions

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahyan confirmed in a telephone conversation with his Emirati counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan that there are no restrictions for the comprehensive development of relations between the two countries.

During a telephone conversation, Hussein Amir Abdullahyan and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated each other on Eid al-Fitr and discussed important bilateral, regional and international issues.

Touching upon the development of relations between Iran and the UAE, Amir Abdollahyan stressed that there are no restrictions on the development of relations between the two countries.

The foreign ministers of Iran and the UAE also stressed the importance of developing cooperation in the private sector.

In turn, the UAE Foreign Minister referred to the common interests of the two countries in the development of bilateral relations in various fields and highlighted various opportunities for joint cooperation.

Regarding the new situation in the region, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed said, “In recent weeks, we have witnessed increased cooperation in the region, including good relations between Tehran and Riyadh, as well as a new situation in Syria.”

The foreign ministers of Iran and the Emirates also invited each other to visit their countries.
