United Kingdom accuses cell member "ISIS Beatles" with fear

The latest member of the ISIS terrorist cell, known in the media as the Beatles, has been charged with terrorist offenses in the UK after being deported from Turkey.

The Metropolitan Police Service said Ayn Davis, 38, was arrested at Luton Airport in north London on Wednesday evening after arriving on a flight from Turkey and charged with offenses under the Terrorism Act.

Davis is due to appear in court in London on Thursday. The Crown Prosecution Service said the charges related to terrorist offenses in 2014 and possession of firearms for terrorism-related purposes.

Davis was arrested in Turley in 2015 and convicted in 2017 for belonging to ISIS. During the trial, he denied being a Beatle.

The militants, who called their hostages “The Beatles” because of their British accent, captured about twenty Westerners ten years ago when ISIS took control of large areas of Syria and Iraq. Several captives were brutally beheaded, including the Americans James Foley and Stephen Sotloff, and the British David Haynes and Alan Henning.
