Russia’s permanent representative in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, said that Western countries will continue to put forward strange anti-Russian initiatives out of inertia.
“They will continue to act by inertia, to put forward some strange initiatives that harm the member states of the European Union,” the diplomat said Wednesday on the air of the Rossiya 24 TV channel. I am critical of their sanctions policy.”
According to Ulyanov, the West expected a more devastating effect from the sanctions imposed on Russia: “In fact, it turns out that we are able to seriously enough resist this attack, but they cannot think of anything else, they are moving in such a hostile direction,” he added.
