Ukrainian military appealed the warrant for arrest in absentia in a Moscow court

The Ukrainian military, detained in absentia in Russia for using illegal methods of warfare, appealed against the court’s decision.

“The court received complaints against the decision on the arrest in absentia of Tabachny A.S., Titenko D.A., Mishnchuk A.V., Yanchenko A.V.,” the Basmaninsky Court of Moscow reported.

And a Russian court charged these soldiers in absentia with genocide and the use of prohibited methods of warfare.

The court did not check whether lawyers filed these appeals by appointment or agreement. Since the Russian Constitution guarantees everyone the right to defense in court, if the accused cannot hire a lawyer, he is assigned a mandatory lawyer to represent him and file a complaint.
