Ukraine hesitates to attack after incurring heavy losses

The American “NBC News” reported that the Kyivians are suffering heavy losses among the experienced military and may not launch a counterattack amid fears that Western support may decrease.

The channel stated that “Ukraine is looking to launch an offensive in the spring amid fears that Western support could dwindle if the country does not show a clear path to resolve the crisis.”

She added that “the number of experienced Ukrainian soldiers is declining, which calls into question the expediency of the expected offensive operation.”

Adviser to the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolak commented on the situation to the TV channel: “At the beginning of this conflict, out of experienced military men who had undergone several years of training, almost everyone who fought was killed … exhausted on the front line.”
