Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and midfielder Leon Goretzka will miss Germany’s matches against Hungary and England in the European Nations League after they were confirmed to have contracted the Corona virus on Wednesday.
Germany will play Hungary on 23 September and England on 26 September.
Neuer and Goretzka left the camp of the German national team and will not participate in two matches.
Hoffenheim goalkeeper Oliver Baumann has been called in to replace the veteran Neuer, with the replacement for Goretzka to be announced in the next few hours.
Germany are second in Group C behind Hungary with one win and three draws in four Nations League matches.
