Turkish Defense Minister to Greece: Whoever wants a better tomorrow must correct yesterday’s and today’s mistakes

Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar confirmed today, on Monday, that his country will not accept a policy of imposing a “fait accompli” by Greece, saying “who wants a better tomorrow, let them correct the mistakes of yesterday and today.”

In a speech he gave at a meeting of the leaders of the armies and armed forces on closed-circuit television, Hulusi Akar noted that Greece continues its illogical provocations, accusations and demands that are not based on laws.

The Turkish Defense Minister urged some Greek politicians and soldiers to refrain from provocative stances towards Turkey in order to achieve domestic goals, highlighting the need for them (Greeks) to focus on resolving contentious issues through dialogue and learning from history.
