Turkish and Sudanese Officials Discuss Safe Evacuation of Turkish Citizens from Sudan

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, in a telephone conversation with his Sudanese counterpart Ali As-Sadiq, discussed the evacuation of Turks from Sudan in connection with armed clashes there.

It is noteworthy that the Turkish Embassy in Khartoum said that today, Sunday, it will evacuate Turks who want to leave Sudan.

Clashes resumed on Saturday between the Sudanese army and “operational support” forces for the eighth day in a row near the presidential palace in the center of Khartoum, despite the declared humanitarian truce for a period of 3 days on the occasion of the Eid al-Adha holiday. .
