Turkey announces the rescue and arrest of 204 illegal immigrants in Muğla and Izmir, in the west of the country.

Turkish authorities announced the release and arrest of 204 illegal migrants in the western states of Muğla and Izmir.

The Izmir Coast Guard Command said in a statement that its teams rescued 130 illegal migrants off the coast of the Karaburun and Dikely regions.

“His teams rescued two migrants off the coast of the Bodrum region,” the Muğla Coast Guard Command said in a statement.

Both leaderships said that “the Greek authorities forced 132 migrants to return to Turkish territorial waters.”

In the same context, the Gendarmerie Command in Mugla said in a statement that it “detained 72 migrants in the forests of the Sidi Kemer region of Bengali, Pakistani and Afghan nationalities.”

The Turkish authorities handed over 204 migrants to the migration departments of the two states to complete the necessary procedures for them.
