Tuchel loses suspension appeal after falling out with Conte

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel will not sit on the bench for his side’s Saturday game against Leicester in the English Premier League after he rejected an appeal banning him from the field for one match.

Tuchel was suspended for one match by the Premier League after he collided with fellow Tottenham manager Antonio Conte after the two teams met in the second round of the English Premier League.

On Friday, the Premier League rejected Tuchel’s appeal.

Tuchel will also have to pay a £35,000 fine.

The order to keep him out of the field due to misconduct handed down against Tuchel has been suspended pending full reasons for the decision, allowing him to be with his team in a match he lost by three goals against Leeds on the last once. Sunday in the third round of the English Premier League.

Tuchel and Conte, who had a disagreement in the technical staff area during the Chelsea-Tottenham match at Stamford Bridge on 14 August, faced off after the final whistle when Tuchel refused to let go of Conte’s fist during the traditional handshake, and considered that Conte does not respect him for not looking into his eyes at the moment of shaking hands.

The incident provoked a clash between the players and dressing room staff and the match referee issued red cards to Tuchel and Conte.
