Trump visits Washington for the first time since leaving the White House

The American newspaper The Hill announced the intention of former US President Donald Trump to visit Washington, DC for the first time since leaving the White House.

According to a newspaper source, Trump plans to speak at a conference organized by the America First Policy Institute.

The newspaper reported that Trump has been giving speeches and organizing rallies across the country for Republican candidates in the past year and a half since he left the White House. But his performance, scheduled for July 26, will be his first return to the nation’s capital since leaving in January 2021.

In November 2020, Democrat Joe Biden won the US presidential election. In January 2021, Trump supporters who said they “stole his victory” attempted to storm the Capitol.
