Former US President Donald Trump has announced that he has made the decision to run for president in 2024, without disclosing the nature of his decision.
Trump said during conversation To New York Scout: “Look, I’m sure I’ll win if I decide to run.”
He added: “Mentally, I have made a decision and nothing will affect it.”
He indicated that he is now considering when his “big decision” will be announced, before or after the midterm congressional elections due next November.
It is noteworthy that Trump won the 2016 US presidential election, ahead of Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, and lost to Joe Biden in the 2020 election.
