"Thought" Russian warns the West about the consequences of the supply of tanks to Ukraine

Russian State Duma deputy Mikhail Sheremetev warned that the supply of German tanks to Ukraine would be seen as a hostile move, forcing the Russian army to resort to much more powerful weapons during a special operation.

Earlier, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said he was confident that the allies would soon reach an agreement on the supply of tanks to Ukraine, including the German Leopard.

Sheremet said: “The supply of German tanks to Ukraine will be considered a military step, and this will give our army the right to use much more powerful weapons in a special operation, which the enemy does not even know about.”

According to him, NATO is persistently pushing European countries to open a military confrontation with Russia, and he said: “The United States is ready to give up not only Ukraine, but also the European Union in order to achieve its ambitions and achieve economic and political benefits. “

He added: “We see that the Germans are resisting pressure because they remember how their last military offensive against Russia ended.”

Germany has so far refrained from delivering Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, but in recent days, pressure on German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has increased significantly in this regard, with several EU heads of state publicly urging him to make a decision on deliveries.

Earlier, Russia sent a memorandum to “NATO” countries over arms shipments to Ukraine, and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov indicated that any arms shipment to Ukraine would be a legitimate target for Russian forces.

The Russian Foreign Ministry also said that the “NATO” countries are playing with fire by supplying weapons to Ukraine. Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov indicated that the infusion of weapons from the West into Ukraine is not conducive to success. Russian-Ukrainian negotiations will also have a negative impact.
