Leonid Slutsky, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, commented on the statements of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, saying that the alliance, calling for negotiations, is doing everything to prevent them from happening.
“NATO supports the negotiations, but does everything to prevent them! The Kyiv regime sees military support for Ukraine as condescension. They kill civilians with Western weapons and commit war crimes, and in Brussels they distribute the status of EU candidate members,” Slutsky wrote in his Telegram account.
He stressed that the collective sanctions of the West will not be able to weaken the position of Russia.
Earlier, Stoltenberg said that, most likely, the Ukrainian crisis will be resolved at the negotiating table.
