The Deputy Minister of Russia pointed out that there are already candidates who deserve permanent membership in the Council.
In an interview with journalists, Ryabkov added: “We ourselves have long been calling for the expansion of the UN Security Council in both categories. It is truly commendable that the American side has finally voiced what the Russian side has been saying for a long time. time and called for its implementation.
“We believe that there are candidates who really deserve to become permanent members of the UN Security Council, and our minister has spoken about this more than once,” the Russian diplomat continued.
