Thieves ruined Verratti’s vacation at Ronaldo’s house

Paris Saint-Germain star Italian Marco Verratti was burglarized at a house owned by former Brazilian striker Ronaldo while on holiday in Ibiza, with a robbery estimated at 3 million euros in damages.

Sources close to the case told AFP on Tuesday that the thieves had seized “a large amount of jewelry and money,” without elaborating. Spanish police launched an investigation into the case after filing a complaint on Monday.

Local newspaper Diario de Ibiza estimated the cost of the robbery at around €3 million, noting that Verratti and his entourage were not at the house when the theft took place.

This new player robbery comes just days after Spanish striker Dani Olmo, the German striker for Leipzig, was robbed on the street in Valencia by two people who stole his luxury watch, according to the Spanish press.
