The US Treasury announced a ban on the transportation of Russian oil

The US Treasury Department said that the US has imposed a ban on the import of oil and petroleum products from Russia, but this does not prevent other countries from making such purchases.

The ministry indicated that the United States will not resume purchases of Russian oil after Western countries impose a price ceiling on it.

The statement confirms that the United States, along with its allies from the G7 and the European Union, will impose a ban on the shipment of Russian oil on December 5, and oil products on February 5.

These allies intend to make exceptions to the ban on supplies that meet the established price ceiling.
