The Russian ruble is growing against the dollar and the euro amid rising oil

The Russian currency rose against the European and US currencies in Thursday afternoon trading, while the price of a barrel of oil on the markets approached the $100 mark.

By 15:52 Moscow time, the dollar exchange rate fell by 6 kopecks (ruble = 100 kopecks) to 60.61 rubles.

At the same time, the euro exchange rate fell by 21 kopecks to 62.54 rubles, according to the data of the Moscow Exchange.
