The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian Navy and the port authorities of the Donetsk Republic provided the first safe exit along the existing Maritime Humanitarian Maritime Corridor from Mariupol for the Turkish ship Azov Concorde.
“Russia is taking a full range of measures to ensure the safety of civilian navigation in the waters of the Black and Azov Seas,” said Mikhail Mizintsev, head of the Russian National Defense Monitoring Center.
He added: “On June 21, 2022, the Navy, in cooperation with the port authorities of the Donetsk People’s Republic, provided the first safe exit along the existing maritime humanitarian corridor from the port of Mariupol for the Turkish ship Azov Concorde.
