The Russian Foreign Ministry summons the Norwegian ambassador to protest the behavior of one of its diplomats in Murmansk and instructs him to leave

The Russian Foreign Ministry said that the Norwegian ambassador was summoned to protest the “unacceptable behavior” of a Norwegian consulate employee in a Murmansk hotel and demanded that she leave Russian territory.

The Russian Foreign Ministry indicated that the stay of an employee of the Consulate General of Norway, Elizabeth Ellingsen, in Mormonsk became impossible after the incident that occurred in the city on July 6.

The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has previously expressed regret over the behavior of an employee of the Norwegian consulate in Murmansk, Russia, Elisabeth Ellingsen.

It has been reported in the media that Elisabeth Ellingsen, a diplomat at the Norwegian consulate in Murmansk, Russia, was rude and aggressive in a Murmansk hotel when she was asked to wait until she checked into a room where she yelled at hotel employee in obscene language.
