The Russian Defense Ministry reports that the Mariupol port has been cleared of mines

The Russian Defense Ministry announced the completion of clearing the entire water area of ​​the liberated port of Mariupol south of Donetsk from mines that were laid by Kyiv troops to prevent the landing of Russian troops there.

“As a result of the complex of measures taken by the Russian Navy, the mine danger in the port of Mariupol has been eliminated,” the ministry said in a statement.

The ministry said that work is underway to rehabilitate the infrastructure of the strategic port on the Sea of ​​Azov.
