The ruble strengthens its positions after the decision of the Russian Ministry of Finance

The Russian currency continues to strengthen its positions against foreign currencies today, Thursday, and the dollar is trading below the level of 68 rubles for the first time since December 26 last year.

The deals also showed that the euro traded below the level of 73 rubles for the first time since December 30 last year, and the Chinese currency yuan traded at the level of 10 rubles for the first time since January 3.

According to the Moscow Exchange, by 10:27 Moscow time, the dollar exchange rate fell by 82 kopecks (the norm = 100 kopecks) to 67.91 rubles.

With the depreciation of the euro by 1.03 rubles to 72.97 rubles, the Chinese currency fell by 7 kopecks to the level of 10 rubles.

And yesterday, the Russian Ministry of Finance announced in a statement that it plans to sell foreign currency in the amount equivalent to 54.5 billion rubles from January 13 to February 6 this year.
