Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin spoke in favor of the need to increase the share of international payments in the Russian currency, the ruble.

This happened during a strategic session on “development of the domestic financial system”, at which Mishustin said: “It is necessary to continue to increase the share of international payments in rubles, with a gradual abandonment of the use of currencies of unfriendly countries.” .”

On March 31, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on paying for Russian gas supplies to “unfriendly countries” in rubles.
